PRIVATE EVENT
The Kirkland Performance Center is having an event to thank those who have renewed their subscription or recently become a subscriber. It will be an afternoon cocktail party, socializing and getting tours and a few mini-speeches. We will set up our chocolate table near Precept Wines, so you know there will be something tasty going on.

We will be at Silver Lake's winery and tasting room in Zillah, WA, on Saturday for this annual festival. Their tasting room is open from 10am - 5pm, but the festivities will run from 11am - 6pm.
"Celebrate the 2008 Grape Harvest. This event features a pit roasted Kalua Pig, ice cold wine vinoritas (think frozen margaritas without the tequila and salt) and a chance to win prizes in our grape stomping contests. Live music by the Blue Tropics, Limbo Contests, Grape Stomping Contests, Kalua Pig (free samples), Blessing of the Grapes, Lunch Available." From what we saw last year, we'd recommend bringing a change of clothes if you want to stomp grapes! And don't forget Silver Lake Winery's Labor Day Case Sale: "Save 30% when you purchase 3 or more cases. Mix and match. Wine Club members always save an additional 10%".
